And a little bit more

Just look at these two ... always looking for mischief!

And this is another candlewick quilt that I have quilted- I don't use patterns for feathers and my quilt machine is not computerised ... so what you see is my own take on freehand feathers. The whole quilt looked beautiful.

Busy Days ....

Over Easter we went to the beach ... yes we go to the beach every chance we get when we can stay three or more days. This time we took our new fur babies .. They each have a harness and walk quite well on a lead - they loved the beach and the sand and stalking each other through the underbrush. We certainly got a few strange looks though - I guess its not something you see every day!

And I have been busy quilting more Vic Fire Relief quilts, and doing a bit of custom work as the Tasmanian Quilting Guild Island Quilts 2009 is coming up soon in June.

This is the back of an allover quilting pattern with just feathers - it looks very nice I think.

This is a little quilt that I have custom quilted and you can only see a bit of it here.
I have also been advised that a candlewick quilt that I quilted last year has won Viewer's Choice at the St Helen's quilt show (this is on the East Coast of Tasmania and they hold a local quilt show every Easter).
Anyway back to the quilt mines ..... work to do.
Happy Quilting for now...Jane
