I have finally put together another small flannel quilt - I had these lovely fat quarters of flannel and made up last week, I love the meandering hearts pattern and have used a soft rose pink thread to quilt it.
This next quilt is a "Nanna Quilt". I made two with the same fabrics but have used different borders. I have mitred these borders and it is not that hard to do. I used the pattern "Hot Rod" on this one and I love the effect on the back fabric. This quilt has gone to live in Adelaide with my sister - for when her grandchildren come to stay with her (thats why it's a nanna quilt)!
It is nice to finally get some quilts finished.
