Okay, here we go....this is my 200th posting and I know everyone loves a giveaway.    The giveaway is open to everyone and is my way of saying Thankyou for reading my blog and leaving all those lovely comments.

The giveaway is this lovely A6 pocket sized Journal Cover made by me and I quilted it on my domestic machine.

I will randomly choose a winner on Tuesady 26 January 2010 which is Australia Day - yay!

So come along and play .   Oh, and please leave your email details in the post because I can't reply to no-reply bloggers if you are the winner.

This is the back view
I just love this Cat fabric - it is called Pampered Pets - I got mine from The Quilt Patch in Launceston.

This is the centre

And last but not least,  these are what were visiting my backyard today ... they are Australian Native Bush Hens ... but we call them Turbo Chooks because they run so fast...lol!

Isn't the little baby one cute

Jane I hadn't seen your blog before - love the book cover and the turbo chooks - we have them here in the wilds of Devon Meadows. They are the stupidest creatures I have ever encountered! I know I won't win your comppetition as I never win anything but I figure it is worth a try!

That journal cover is adorable! My daughter would love that for her journal. Is this open to international followers too? (I'm in the States.) If not, that's ok. I still think is adorable!

How lucky are you to see such a sight in your backyard. Australia is such a great place. I'm jealous. LOL

I'll add my email though I've got it open with my blogger account.

I ditto that, many congratulations, and please put me down in the draw as well. Your turbo chooks look very much like the Pukekos we have here in New Zealand, called "God dammmed purple chickens" by a visiting American Serviceman many years ago. (Sorry for swearing on a Sunday though).

I just realised my comment above doesn´t link to my blog (and therefore email) so I am resending.
One day I will find out if you can have two gmail names linked to a blog. Sorry - starting to waffle... please delete my first entry - thank you.
Here are my comments again :)

Hi Jane,
Cute journal cover!!! So hope I'm lucky!
Your turbo chooks make me laugh, I used to have these cheeky visitors climb the railing, trot over the deck and into my classroom at a school in a rural area 10 years ago-they would come to try to steal from our rubbish bin after lunch! My class room backed onto a wetlands that the native hens would hang about in. The kids had a lovely time chasing them out of the classroom too with much squealing.
And I'm going to ask you to post pictures of your furbabies- they must be HUGE by now.
You have my email of course if I am the winner of the journal cover.

Hi Jane,
first time on your blog, love blogs they keep us touch with like minded people and I feel supported and connected through reading them, thanks.
Your journal cover is great and it would be a privilege to have it and use it when shopping for all the 'bits and bobs' one needs for the sewing room.

Happy creating!
