Wanna see some close ups - lol!

I thought you all might like to see a few close ups ...

I love the vibrancy in this quilt - fabulous colours... and the pattern is "Sassy"
Another customer quilt ... beautiful butterflies with the quilting pattern "Wandering Daisies"
 The back ..
Lyn's beautiful quilt ... the photo doesn't do it any justice.  I have used a modified quilting pattern on this one ... I have added my own style of Dragonflys.
 The back
This is a custom quilt .... a heavily embroidered centrepiece that I have quilted with a small stipple to hold it down and capture some fullness.

Lots of borders too!  What a fun quilt.
Close up of a few borders
The outside border ... swags with a stylised feather
More of the borders.   I like the leafy style of feathers here ... they really suit the quilt I think .
And finally ... did you know that you can make Zentangles into quilts ... these are some of my little baby Zentangle drawings ... some will become little quilty things ... soon.  You can see more Zentangle goodness over on my other blog Jane Monk Studio.

Happy Quilting for now ... Jane x

A Little Bit More ...

A little more has been sewn together ... okay I couldn't resist and finished piecing this scrappy quilt ... I love it.   I can look at all those pieces and think of all the quilts I have made ... and those I haven't - lol!

Lots of longarm quilting happening here this week ... busy busy busy.

I guess all those Scquilters (Southern Cross Quilters) are getting ready to leave for retreat in Kiama next week - I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ... sniff, wish I could have been there but I am teaching Zentangle workshops (you can see more over at my blog janemonkstudio.blogspot.com)

Sewing Happening Sporadically

Does this look scrappy to you?   I am really liking this with all my scrappy fabrics.   I was sewing at 12.30 last night as sleep once again evaded me.

Hope you are all Quilting along merrily.... where did February go?
