The Great Escape

Shadow Daisy has escaped - once again.

She was in seventh heaven chasing grasshoppers and trying to chase wallabies - silly thing - she has no chance against wallabies - they hear her coming and are too fast and so much bigger than her - but I guess she has a bit of fun until we make her come inside and get brushed to get out all the grass seeds in her fur.

And the swallows were swooping her telling her off!

1000 pyramid quilt - finished - "Red Herring"

I have finally finished the 1000 pyramid quilt - quilted and bound. I have quilted fish on it - in a lovely verigated thread but I have quilted three red fish - so have called it Red Herring. But the quilt is absolutely huge - 102 x 100 inches.

But I love big quilts and it will be going to the beach with us - yay.

A close up of the back - but you can't see the colour of the fabric - which is a lovely rich red.
